Animated explainer videos are very powerful

1) Understand your business and story

First thing is first with animated video, and that is learning about your business and service/product. We want to know what makes you unique, what differentiates you and what might appeal to your target audience. We do this by using our questionnaire which will help us shape the project.

If you are into advertising you will know that the godfather of this semi ‘dark art’

Video in an animated style, with a carefully scripted and chosen voice over, lets you talk to your audience with visual and audible cues that enhances your message. At this early stage we will ascertain characters needed, graphical look and feel (mood board), and any ideas you have from other animations or in general that we can look to incorporate.

2) Lets start the writing process

The script acts as a first method of communication and will allow you to see how the animation will look and is structured. I will try to provide a 3-4 day turnaround for this stage. I will also be happy (within reason) to make multiple revisions until you are 100% happy. I schedule about 4-5 hours into the scripting part all in all. That combines research, emails, Skype/calls, amendments, testing, etc. I welcome feedback on all aspect of the work I provide.

3) I now create a storyboard

This is where we combine graphics, script, audio cues (FX/ambient sound) into a story that you can visually see on the screen and imagine is an animation broken down. This period is often about 6-10 days dependent on feedback, and general time needed for the project and overall project management constraints.
4) Choose a pro voiceover artist

I will give you options of a number of Female and Male voice over artists from the UK and US primarily to choose from. The choice you have will allow you to find the right pace, tone and clarity for the project.
5) Time to add music/sound FX

Audio really does bring along all visual material and we will help yo source a soundtrack and sound FX that suit your animation. We add this part at the video production end of the project and you will be able to see and hear the full animation at this stage.
